Coldwell Banker has it's beginnings in San Francisco in 1906 and has built a proud history of providing service excellence for over 100 years. The Coldwell Banker brand name first came to the Canadian residential market in 1989. In 1993, Coldwell Banker substantially increased its presence in Canada in a joint venture with Canada Trust. With this growth, Coldwell Banker Affiliates of Canada, has gained a proud heritage of almost 50 years of Canadian real estate experience. In 1997, private investors purchased the Coldwell Banker master franchise for Canada from Canada Trust and Cendant Corporation. Then, in 1999 Coldwell Banker Canada's senior management, along with a financial partner, acquired the company.

Today, Coldwell Banker Affiliates of Canada is a strong, secure, 100% Canadian owned company, operated by talented people who know the real estate business and our marketplace. The national office is located in Burlington Ontario, and the operation is led by President and CEO, Gary Hockey.

The Coldwell Banker Canada Network has over 3,700 sales professionals in nearly 300 independently owned franchised offices across the country. We operate in every province and territory, except Quebec. In Quebec, we have a relationship with our referral partner, La Capital, a premier real estate company. Internationally, the Coldwell Banker referral network has more than 3,600 offices, in over 43 countries worldwide - generating more than 200,000 referrals a year.

In March of 1990, Jim Holody Realty Inc. acquired the first Coldwell Banker real estate franchise in London, choosing to access the resources of a firm with a heritage of outstanding service and success. The firm name has changed to Holody Realty Inc., and operated under the name of Coldwell Banker Holody Realty. In 1994 Jim's company purchased several Canada Trust Realty offices and operated 3 branches located in the North, South, and West parts of London. The company name was changed at the same time to Coldwell Banker 1st London Real Estate Services to reflect it's new presence and strength.

Today Coldwell Banker 1st London operates out of one large facility at 1069 Wellington Rd. S. with 2 mall kiosk locations. With over 50 sales associates and seven support staff, we have consistently been one of the top offices in the Coldwell Banker system.
